Spud

10/19/86 - 12/29/98

He was a Chinese Shar-Pei. He had his own distinct personality, there were times when he wanted to be petted and there were times when he didn't. He would come over to you and nudge your hand to pet him, other times if you wanted to pet him and he didn't want to, he would snarl. He was a wonderful dog and so much a part of our family, we all miss him deeply.

His companion, Brutus, our other dog, also a Shar-Pei, grieved badly for Spud, and I feel that he still looks for him. They were together for 11 years. We recently found out that Brutus is also dying (cancer), it gives us some comfort knowing that one day they will be together again. Spuddy we miss you and love you!!!
