No longer with She be with us around the place.
No longer will we share her loving nuzzle asking for a pat or slap.
No longer will she be at our feet, jumping with joy at the thought of a walk or run.
No longer her innocent face on the table looking for something tasty.
No longer will we have her physical presence.
Instead we will have everlasting memories of a wonderful dog.
Memories too numerous to mention and personal memories of times together.
Of a dog who was so loving and gentle, yet protective of those she loved and cherished.
Of a dog who was so placid with us and with the younger dogs she cared for and educated.
May she be happy to be with her old mate Skye, and Poochie.
She died as she lived, quietly, trusting, loyal and affectionate.
