Sassy

This is for you Sassy. You were more than just a dog to me. You were Mama's Little Billy Goat. Even though you just left us on Feburary 8, 1999, you are still in my heart.

I miss you terribly. Be a good girl. Treat Nu and Hoppy well. You will make lots of new friends and you will be a healthy, happy girl once again. I love you.

Letter to Sassy, posted November/99

Sassy, Mom just wanted to tell you that we have two new babies. They will never take your place but they needed a home and Babe was kind of lonely since you left for your special star.

Mickey is just like you. She is full of spunk and energy just like you were. She sleeps with me and is very much a Mamma's girl. You were too.

Alexis, her sister, is deaf. She needs lots of extra love. She is very, very bouncy but she is good girl.

Babe is finally getting used to them. Alexis is forever taking her toys. Mickey chases Babe's tail all the time. It feels good to have the puppies. You were so missed by everyone but especially me. I talk to your star almost every night so I guess you did know about the girls. Be well Sass.
