Pixie
On February 13, 1999 we had to say goodbye to our miniature schnauzer
Pixie. Pixie had problems on her back, survived cancer surgery and was the
love of our lives. In December she had kidney failure and stayed in
intensive care for two days. She was very brave for 6 weeks but the kidney
failure came back and we knew it was time to let Pixie rest. It was the
most difficult decision of our lives and it has been the worst month of our
lives.
We miss Pixie terribly. I can not function anymore. I miss holding Pixie in
my arms, having her sleep next to me and definitely her festive welcome
home every time we came in even if we just went to the mail box. Pixie was
our sunshine, our moonlight and our stars
Dear Pixie I hope you understand how difficult our decision was and that
over the Rainbow Bridge you are able to enjoy life as you once did. Mom and
Dad cry all the time because we miss you very much and we always remember
your loyalty and love. Please forgive us and remember we will always miss
and love you !!
