Pepper

My adopted Gram Natalie has just lost her friend and loyal Companion...Pepper. Pepper was a mixed breed. Probably Shepherd and Lab. He was gorgeous dog. When my family and I were staying with Natalie

She lost her first dog..."Little Dog", she had such a hard time with this that a friend told of another dog that had just lost his owner. My brother and sister and I decided that grama needed another companion. We all loaded up in a car to see the dog. She loved him right away. There was an immediate bond. He was her companion for years. Living alone on the edge of a river she needed the friendship. Pepper's only problem was that if he got out, he'd run away, eventually coming back. The only problem with that was that nearby there was a busy road. Pepper was mostly kept inside unless he was on a leash.

Pepper and Natalie grew very close. Pepper however became very ill and was put to sleep last week. The house is now quite, and Grama Natalie is now alone.....again.
