Saltydog Sushinsky

Oct 31, 1991 to March 24, 2003

Gone but never forgotten

Salty came into the home and was a family member of Bob & Diane Sushinsky and daughter Vera. His name is a term used to refer to Pirates on the sea. He spent a lot of his years on a 45 foot ocean vessel and he loved to swim in the salt water. One time he even caught a fish and he always let you know when someone was coming close by. In Dec of 1991, Salty moved from Florida to rural Arkansas with the Sushinsky's.

Salty was right at home on the Sushinsky ranch with all the horses and other farm animals. He loved to eat the nuggets with the horses and the feed with the chickens. His daily obsession was chasing squirrels up a tree. He would always bark when anyone drove up, then he would stand beside the car door and wait to be hugged or patted on the head. He loved to be outdoors and would come to the patio door and wait for someone to come play or visit with him.

Salty wasn't feeling very well and on March 24, 2003, he left this world. Now he is in God's hands and knows that he was well loved. He was such a kind and gentle dog and very much a member of our family. He will be missed more than words can ever describe.

We thank you God for letting Salty share his life with us!
