Nikita F

Nikki F was a German Shepherd who came into this world on the 3rd of Apr 1993 in Comber, Ontario. She was the off-spring of Lady Telsa de Palma and Midnight Prowler. Nikki became our cherished pet a few weeks later. She grew up in a loving home.

She was to become a very spoiled pet who went everywhere with us. She did endure problems early in her life when she had to undergo surgery for a cruciate ligament rupture but she bounced back quickly from the operations and enjoyed a relatively pain free life afterwards. She lived to play. She loved chasing her orange rubber hockey balls and could rarely be found without one in her mouth. She enjoyed travelling in the car.

She loved to see new places and meet new people. Nikki wasn't a barker unless she was around her German Shepherd cousin Sasha, who she loved to boss around. She was a gentle loving animal who would never bite and could be trusted around small children. In fact she looked forward to having kids over to the house. She would play with them for as long as the children could put up with her. Her favourite times seemed to be around water. She loved going to the cottage where she would spend endless hours swimming in the lake or just languishing in the shallow water catching a few rays.

Unfortunately Nikki became sick late in February of 2003 and on March 12th we took our beloved pet in to be put down. We were with her until the end.

She was a loving pet who provided us with almost ten years of companionship and love. We will miss her.
