This is a picture of my precious baby dog and my son.
Baby was born on July 31, 1990. She was so young when we found her in the pet store, we actually had to wait a week before taking her home. She went everywhere with us. When we had my son, we were worried she would be jealous. Instead, the day we brought him home, we introduced the two of them and they became inseparable. She thought of him as her puppy. He would lay down next to her drinking his bottle and rubbing her ear...she was his comfort blanket. Then my daughter came along and Baby welcomed her as well.
On Monday, April 22, 2002 - it was time for her to go to Heaven. She had battled cancer once..but it had returned. She was blind, deaf and with the heat of the summer coming on, we all knew it was time to say goodbye. The vet came to our house so she was able to be at home..surrounded by everyone who loved her. We buried her in our yard close to our house.
Life will never be the same without her..but she lives on in our hearts and memories forever.
