Lexi

In Memory of My Lexi... I, Laura R, adopted Lexi from the local shelter in Nov 2001. S he was a Cocker Spaniel used for breeding. She developed tumors in her mammories and she needed to be spayed. She was dumped at the shelter. However I came along and was fortunate to be able to adopt her.

On 17 December 2001, Lexi died on the operating table. My heart dropped right out of me. Now I realize that I was able to give her love, friendship, compassion and a stress free life. I loved her instantly. She was a gentle and trusting soul ...

Everyone who met her ... loved her... she was that awesome. I wish I would have had more time to show her the love and honor she deserved.... I miss her dearly. Sexy Lexi that was her nickname and boy she knew it... she was an awesome girl.

I look forward to the day when I get to meet her at the bridge... What a wonderful day that will be.... For now, I move forward. I am a member of Cocker Spaniel Rescue... I do for other furbabies who need to be rescued... That is what my Lexi taught me to do... so I do it. ... with lots of love.
