Tiggs
In Loving Memory of TIGGS - Yorkshire Terrier (who thought he was a German Shepard!)
9th January 1992 - 13th February 2002 UK
You were the light in our lives and our reason for living. We all miss you dearly and our home seems empty without you. For ten years you were our companion, our friend, our little dog and our baby. We knew it would be hard when we had to say goodbye, but we never imagined it would be this hard.
Your memory will always live on and you will always be in our thoughts. A day doesn't go by when we are not looking for you around the house thinking that you're up to no good! If only.
There are no barks, no howling and no tearing up of letters as they fall through the letter box. No rampant yapping at the phone when it rings, no rushing to the front door to greet us. These are the things that are the most difficult to deal with.
Tiggs, Spot, Sausage, Pigeon Pie, Fluffy, Smelly, Babe, Scruffy, Spong and countless other pet names (some you gained when you had 'thoughtfully been in our bin!) all describe one special 'person'! TIGGS KENT.
You were ill for a short time before you passed away, and although the grief is unimaginable, we are all relieved that there is no more suffering and no more pain. It upsets us all that there was nothing we could have done, but uncannily we were all at home that tragic night and our saving grace is that we were there for you in your hour of need.
Wherever you may be we hope you are at peace and no doubt making a nuisance of yourself!
From us all, family and friends, Good Bye, God Bless and Sleep Tight.
(And don't run off!)
Love you always and forever, Mum, Dad, Steve and Mike.
