This is a tribute to my best friends dog of 10 years... a Labrador named Jesse.

Today she died and my friends family's heart broke to pieces... Not flesh of your flesh

Nor bone of your bone

Still, and miraculously -

She is your very own

No once can deny your love for her

Not for a single minute

For she grew not under your heart

But deep and strong within it.
