Bobo (aka. Bow Wow, Bobby)

Feb 1993 - 15 January 2001

Our dear Bobo came to us when she was only a week old. We exchanged two bags of sugar for her. What a darling she was! We trained her with some instructions like "sit", "shake hands" and "go back to your cage" and she learnt it in all in a very short time. She would also catch the rats in the garden which were quiet rampant before she came. Although she is no pure bred or expensive dog and only a mongrel, she was still an excellent guard dog. Despite of her small size, she is always very brave and did her best to keep away strangers.

We were very upset when we got to know from the vet that her blood was contaminated which kept causing her skin to rot. Despite giving her the jab twice to cure her disease, we were still unable to prevent her condition from worsening. In the final stage, her coat was filled with patches of dead skin and she would bleed easily. She couldn't even walk and breathe properly.

On the morning of her death, she still struggled to stand up to wag her tail to welcome us as if to say her last farewell to us. We found her resting eternally at our door porch at 11.40 p.m., 15 January 15, 2001.

Rest in peace, our darling Bobo!

Your Sweet smile, Your loud bark,
And Slight tilt of the head when we call your name...
. Will always be in the hearts of : Dad, Mum, Yen Chiu and Haitang
