Mia
I had to put Mia., my 17 year old Border Collie, to sleep December 1999.
She was my first dog.
She was a avid ball player and I always hoped that when her time came
she would die while chasing a ball or a frisbee.
But, alas, that was not to be. I had to make the very difficult
decision to have her put to sleep. My dear friend, Dorothy, was with me
that fateful evening. For her support that night I will be forever
grateful.
I have not been able to spread Mia's ashes yet. I can't seem to find
the right location.....
Perhaps I am not ready to let go.
Everyday, I look at one or her five children, my other dog, Sasha, and
think of her.
