January 13, 1988 to January 11, 1999
Logan came into my life and changed it forever. Never was a dog more sure of himself and brought me into his circle of self confidence. From the moment I saw his puppy face till the moment I held him in my arms to help ease his way to the Bridge, he filled my life with the greatest joy and beauty. A champion in the ring, mostly he was the champion in my heart.
I REMEMBER...
how solid you were to hug...
how soft were your velvet ears...
how your soft face could melt my heart...
how your paw would fill my hand...
your beauty mark so aptly named...
the velvety fur of your chest...
your soft brown eyes that held the depths of the world...
and could always look through into my soul...
ignoring the physical imperfections...
seeing only the pure love mirrored in mine...
