Jocelyn -- my dearest friend and companion for more than 13 years -- I miss you more than you will ever know.
Even though I knew in my heart that eventually the day would come when I would have to say good-bye to you, I never realized just how hard it would be for me. It shocked both of us to come home and find you the way that we did. Your dishes and toys remain where you left them; I can’t bring myself to move anything yet.
You were always there for me, no matter what difficulties I was experiencing, and you never judged me -- you just loved me.
Until we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge -- good-bye, Jocey, my friend. I love you and I always will.
