Susie

For my beloved friend "Susie", a liver and white Springer Spaniel...

She came to live with us when she was 18months old. She was liver and white and had a wonderful personality which would put a smile on anyones face. She loved to play with her tennis ball, and would spend endless hours chasing it around our property. She had a very healthy apetite, which I believe all dogs do, and would sit patiently by her bowl waiting for any scraps we would lovingly throw her way. Susie was a great companion and loyal friend who would always be by my side when I was upset (she would sit next to me and put her paw on my lap) and would listen to all my woes. Susie also used to do special tricks for her nightly biscuit, like shaking hands, speaking, begging and guess which hand the biscuit was in by putting her paw on it.

Sadly little Susie suffered from epilepsy, which we controlled by means of medication, but on the morning of August 7th Susie had a very bad fit from which she never recovered. Susie died that morning aged only 4 and a half years, leaving us all devestated.

We hope that our little "Susie" will be looked after in heaven and that somebody will continue to throw her ball and love her as much as we did on earth.
