Pebbles

In memory of a beautiful shih tzu, Pebbles - who lived with us for 16 l/2 years. Pebbles helped with raising three children and provided us with unconditional love and happiness. She was born October 2, 1982 and never had a medical problem in all that time. Our world revolved around her and we took her everywhere with us. If she couldn't go, we wouldn't go either.

She was as much a member of our family and were the children. We watched her grow up and then we had to observe the unbearable process of her aging and loosing her eyesight and hearing (to a degree). We tried so hard to make her stay longer, but the decision was hers and hers alone.

On May 27, 1999, in our arms, she passed away.

We try not to let the grief overcome us because we cling to the thought that we will meet again one day - all this love we feel cannot and will not be wasted - it has followed her to heaven and will keep her warm until we see her there and continue where we left off here.

Pebbles, thank you for the best years of our lives.
