We are a free internet memorial community, open to all dogs who have Gone to DogStar, and who
wait for us there. Our goal is to give you a place
where you will always be able to find your friend in the night sky. And to help you
realize that you have been blessed with a very special gift when you know,
as do we, that spirit as bright as theirs can never die.
Each of our dogs have individual
stars that lead to their respective pages, grouped in constellations. If you'd like to read some
touching tributes from others who have loved and lost a dog, please go to one
of the constellations on the left (numbered)...<---- and
click upon a star.
The posting of DogStars to their constellation is a free service,
performed
on behalf of (and with the occasional assistance of) the spirit of
Patsy Ann.
We gratefully accept donations to help pay for our website hosting fees (not required).
Who's this Patsy Ann?
The legend of Patsy Ann intrigued us. And her spirit haunted us until we
wove her into the
fiction novel, DogStar.
It is a story about a grief-stricken
child who is mourning the loss of his dog beyond comprehension.
Patsy Ann appears to him and leads him back to her time, the 1930s, smack into a fast-paced
adventure invovling counterfeit money, crooked politicians and sunken
treasure. But the real
treaure is what Jeff takes home with him - his ability to keep Buddy alive in his heart forever.
