Eli
"THAT STAR WE SEE"
1992 - 1999
A few words from Mike, Sheryl, Ryan, Kyle and Eryn:
We adopted Eli in July, 1996. What a great family dog! A friend to each of
us and our family companion. His special character and facial expressions,
we will never forget. We each grew to appreciate Eli in different ways.
How he hated thunderstorms and baths...dancing for biscuits...hunting with
Eli...playing and wrestling with Eli in the backyard...throwing tennis balls
for Eli to retrieve...evening walks around the block and at the park...these
are all memories of Eli today.
Eli became ill at Thanksgiving, 1998. He was found to have a malignant type
sarcoma that spread very quickly. Just a few short months later, on March
16, 1999 we had have Eli put to sleep.
In Memory of Eli:
Star light, Star bright.
Twinkle, Twinkle... in the sky at night.
We can see it, it's in our sight.
Star light, Star bright.
Forever our Friend;
Gone, but not forgotten,
That star we see...
Eli, it will be.
Playful Energy, we knew well.
Great Disposition, from the start.
Good Spirited, we could tell.
Facial Expressions, taken to heart.
Forever our Friend;
Gone, but not forgotten,
That star we see...
Eli, it will be.
Star light, Star bright.
Twinkle, Twinkle... in the sky at night.
We can see it, it's in our sight.
Star light, Star bright.
