Attie
Attie (BooDog) Van Der Schuyt
Born May 8th 1992
Went to be with the Lord November 30 1998
I remember looking to buy a Rottweiler and finding an ad in the
paper. I
went to see the puppies and I remember 1 standing out the most.
She was
playing and barking with her brothers and sisters. So I picked her
up and
she was very wild and crazy, but she didn't cry like the others
did when I
picked them up. I just held her and in an instant our souls bonded.
Well
needless to say on our way home I remember getting home and everyone was
shocked, "You got a rottweiler-- the devil dog". Only to find out a
few days
later she was the new and only Grandchild in my family. As time went
by she
showed us that dogs are humans with only two more legs. She would
get on the
couch watch T.V., go to town when anyone went or just loved to be
a people
and just hang out.
I have never in my life seen the loyal, unconditional love
that she showed me. And all I had to give her was my love, all I
had I gave
her. The Bible says "Greater love has no man than to lay
down his life for
his friend" and I know she would have for any of my family.
I wish people
could love others like Attie loved me and I her. Attie you know
I could go
on forever talking about you but we know the memories and
one day we will
be together again to add to the memories.
I love you BooDog.
