December 6, 1983-May 15, 1998

Abby has just joined us at DogStar, her picture will be up soon. She is dearly missed.

A few words:

She was a German Shorthair Pointer that we brought home to our children, Kristin and Nicole when they were in first grade and nursery school. We bought her as a pet but turned out to be a magnificent show dog. Her breeders showed her for us and she was a champion in just a few months. More than that, she was a loving part of our family ("our kid").
That was 1989.
Now it's 1998 and her spirit lives on. Our daughters are in college, Abby's son Buck is a 12 year old sweetheart and her breeders, Bob and Ann (and their dogs) have become a second family to us. Sadly, Ann passed away in Feb. 1997 and I hope she's in heaven with all the people and dogs she's ever loved.
